In August, Alyssa Milano was announced as the star of the second Broadway revival of *Chicago*, which originally premiered in 1975. She shared her excitement in a statement: “I could not be more thrilled to return to my roots in musical theater. When I was 8 and joined the national touring company for *Annie*, I never imagined the 40+ year career that followed. To make my Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in the iconic *Chicago* and to honor such a distinguished lineage is a dream come true for a little girl who loved to sing, dance, and make people smile. I can’t wait to hit the stage.”
